After completion of a Bachelor's degree (4-year university degree), students can pursue advanced degrees such as a Master's degree and then a Ph.D. degree.     After completion of the advanced degree, students can return to their home country to start careers.             After completion of an AA or an AS degree at SJDC, students can transfer to a university of choice such as San Francisco State University, University of California, Berkeley, etc., to pursue a 4-year degree, Bachelor of Arts (BA degree) or Bachelor of Science (BS degree). After completion of a Bachelor's degree, students can return to their home country to start careers.         After completion of a vocational program, students can return to their home country to start careers.   After completion of the ESL program at SJDC, students can pursue a 2-year college degree, Associate of Arts (AA degree) or Associate of Science (AS degree). After completion of an AA or AS degree at SJDC, students can return to their home country to start careers.       After completion of the ESL program at SJDC, students can pursue a vocational certificate at SJDC. ESL Program at SJDC Students may study ESL for 1-3 years depending on the English level of the students. The ESL program prepares  students to take college courses at SJDC.    After completion of the ESL program at SJDC, students can return to their home country to start careers.

Basic Requirements for Application to study ESL at San Joaquin Delta College (SJDC)

-Must be a graduate from high school

-Must be at least 18 years old

-Must show proof of financial status
