Admission Steps


EOPS Student Orientation


The EOPS Student Orientation is a required activity for all new applicants to EOPS.  In order to be offically admitted all new applicants are required to attend the EOPS student orientation.

The EOPS program requires that all EOPS eligible students enroll in GUIDANCE 11 or GUIDANCE 19 Orientation to College course in their first semester of acceptance to EOPS.

Sign a Contract

Upon acceptance to the EOPS program the student will receive a signed copy of the Mutual Responsibility Contract. The contract states that you will voluntarily participate in the various counseling, educational support, and student follow-up activities, as well as abide by the policies, procedures and timelines established by the EOPS program.

Student Education Plan SEP

You are required to meet with your EOPS counselor prior to the midpoint of each Fall and Spring semester, and then a second time, prior to the close of the semester.

 

Is developed by an EOPS counselor for you, to identify the courses in which you will need to enroll each semester, to complete the requirements for your certificate, associate, or university program of study.
EOPS Student Success Seminar
EOPS Academic Progress Reports

You are required to attend a minimum of one Student Success Seminar, each Fall and Spring semester.


EOPS Workshops exposes you to information and experiences which will strengthen and broaden your understanding of campus and community resources.

Progress Report is an activity initiated by EOPS in which instructors provide information on EOPS students in progress classwork, attendance and grades.

***Note: Failure to complete one or more of these responsibilities will affect your continued eligibility and lead to your disqualification from the EOPS program and its services.
