Welcome to San Joaquin Delta College!

Delta College’s Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) has assisted thousands of eligible students realize their educational and career dreams since 1970.  Graduates of Delta College who received services from EOPS today hold numerous positions of responsibility in Stockton and the surrounding communities.  As students they came to Delta College with a dream for a college education, even though they had never attended college.  Having attained their educational goals, many are now professionals and technicians in their communities making significant contributions in their professions.

Delta College’s EOPS counselors and staff are highly experienced, knowledgeable and committed to providing you the best personal and professional services.  The EOPS counselors and staff will assist you in making the right choice for you to successfully complete your educational objective, including career choices and transfer options to a four year university by completing the appropriate transfer program at Delta College.

Delta College’s EOPS is structured to make your college experience a success.  From the beginning EOPS counselors and staff will facilitate your admissions to Delta College.  They will assist you with college admissions forms, financial aid applications and EOPS priority registration.  While you are enrolled in college, EOPS counselors and staff will provide you with an EOPS program orientation, registration assistance for priority enrollment in courses, and counseling services.

EOPS counseling services include an assessment of your educational history, interpretation of your reading, writing, and math placement test scores for developing your educational plan while at Delta College and academic advisement related to your educational goal.   Our goal is to help you successfully complete your program of study!
