Application Process

EOPS applications for SPRING 2009 will be available beginning November 3, 2008 through January 8, 2009, by attending an EOPS Application Workshop. Click here to see the application workshop schedule for SPRING 2009.
Before you Apply for EOPS 


• Apply for admission to Delta College (e-services Lab - Cunningham 226)
• Complete the Delta College Placement Testing Process (Cunningham 220)

• Apply for the Board of Governor's Fee Waiver to cover tuition costs, or
• Complete a 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), or apply on line at FAFSA www.fafsa.ed.gov/
• Submit official copies of transcripts to Delta College's Admissions Office for evaluation of associate   degree applicable units. (Only for students who have attended other institutions of higher education).

After you apply, what happens next?

Applicants are accepted during the Summer term, Fall and Spring semesters. The majority of EOPS students are accepted during the fall semester. In the spring term the number of students admitted is conditioned on the availability of remaining EOPS budget.

  • All new applications are reviewed in the order received.
  • Processing of an application takes a minimum of 6 business weeks.
  • Incomplete applications will not be given priority.
  • All qualified applicants will be notified through their Delta College's e-mail account regarding acceptance.
  • All incomplete or ineligible applicants will be notified in writing through the United States Postal Service.
