Student Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities are:
  • To use the EOPS Program and it's various services, as frequently and fully as possible.
  • To abide by the conditions of the EOPS Mutual Responsibility Contract which each student signs at the EOPS Student Orientation, as well as EOPS program policies, procedures and timelines    EOPS MUTUAL REPSPONSIBLITY CONTRACT SPRING 2012
  • To maintain satisfactory academic progress toward your educational goal, and to enroll only in courses identified on your EOPS counselor approved, Student Education Plan.

Suggestion for Success

  • Take time to learn about the EOPS services and programs, the more you use our services, the greater the chance we will be able to assist you.
  • Learn how our system works as soon as possible. Most EOPS financial grants, and many EOPS services have special requirements and deadlines.
  • Read all EOPS materials you are provided carefully. You are ultimately responsible for remaining current about EOPS program practices, procedures and deadlines.
  • Should you experience a life crisis or academic problem, during the semester, speak with your EOPS counselor as soon as possible. Your counselor can provide you information about your options, and help you decide the best way to manage your situation. Do not wait until you are in crisis and plan ahead whenever possible.
