Online Learning Opportunities!
Kids College has partnered with Education To Go® to provide online courses on a wide range of topics. Teens (those with at least an 8th grade reading level) can take online courses at a time that fits best with their busy schedules. These online learning courses are opportunities for teens to improve academic skills, learn new computer skills, and develop skills for possible future employment or careers. Online Courses: All courses run for six weeks with a two-week grace period at the end. Each course is composed of 12 lessons, representing 24 hours of instruction. You can ask questions and give or receive advice at any time during the course. A new section of each course starts monthly. These are not-for-credit classes, but upon successful completion, students will be able to download a certificate of completion from Ed2Go®. Fee: Most six-week online courses are $79. Basic Computer Requirements: Students must have an e-mail address and Internet access (Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer web browser). Other Requirements: Students must have at least an 8th grade reading level.
