Student Responsibilities

CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE:

While attending SJDC all students will be subject to SJDC District Policy concerning Student Conduct and Discipline. (SJDC District policy #5470)

ATTENDANCE:

All students are required to adhere to SJDC District policy concerning attendance. Policy 5150 states in part:

1. It is the right of the instructor to drop any student who fails to attend the first three class sessions at the beginning of a term unless the student has advised and obtained an absence approval from the instructor.

2. It is the right of the instructor to drop a student from class when absences become excessive.

(If students receiving services through DSPS will be absent from class due to disability related reasons, they may contact this office and their teachers will be notified.)

PARKING:

All students who park on campus must either pay for a daily pass or purchase a semester parking sticker at the cashier's office in the Administration Building. "Handicapped" parking is provided to those with the proper DMV sticker/plate. (Fees are subject to change.)

For financial aid and work-study information students should contact the Financial Aid Office located in the Goleman Library Building, Room 125 (ph.#-954-5115 V/TDD).
