GUIDELINES FOR HOURLY EMPLOYEES

WELCOME!!!  The following information should help you understand the guidelines you will need to follow in order to maintain your position as an hourly employee.  As you may know, employees are hired to assist students with disabilities.

1.        IF YOU ARE SICK OR ANTICIPATE A PROBLEM IN GETTING TO YOUR JOB ON            TIME, call the Disability Support Program and Services (DSPS) office (954-5330 day or night - answering machine) or a least one hour before your shift so that we can do our best to get a substitute.

2.        IF YOU ARE SICK OR LATE AND DO NOT CALL THE DSPS OFFICE AT LEAST ONE       HOUR BEFORE YOUR SHIFT, you risk losing your job.  If this happens 3 times, you will be             terminated.  Absences will be recorded.

3.        IF, FOR ANY REASON, YOU CANNOT CONTINUE AS AN EMPLOYEE, please contact the DSPS Office immediately so that we can attempt to locate another employee.
