Who Is Eligible For Hire Or To Volunteer

FOR HIRE

1.    First, students must be full-time Delta College students.  Must carry the following units.

            Fall and Spring - 9 units +   

          Summer - 6 units +

2.    Review the jobs available in DSPS - Cunningham 120

            DSPS I

              a.    Class Aide/Tester/Reader

            b.    Mobility/Personal Aide

            c.    Physical Education Aide                           

            DSPS II       

            a.    Alternate Format Aide      

            b.    Office Clerical

            c.    Computer lab

3.    Once all paperwork and testing has been completed and you are hired by DSPS, you will be required to complete Human Resources packet which will include: 

            a.    T.B. Testing

            b.    Finger Printing

All paperwork must be completed and approved by the Human Resources before you can begin working.

FOR VOLUNTEERS

1.    Must complete DSPS Application

2.    TB form (half sheet) to complete ASAP.

3.    Finger Printing

6.    CANNOT VOLUNTEER until approved by Human Resources.
