  • improve my reading, writing and math skills.
  • work on time management and self-management skills to make the most efficient use of my time.
  • develop computer skills, especially if my disability requires specialized adapted computer knowledge.
  • develop and improve strategies to compensate for my disability. attend all classes, be on time, complete all homework and meet with my counselor on a regular basis.

I need to:

  • learn how to explain my disability and needs to others.
  • identifymy strengths and weaknesses.
  • learn what reasonable accommodations I require and how to ask for them.
  • learn that it is OK to ask for assistance before it is too late to do so.
  • understand my disabilityand learn ways to compensate and manage my condition.
