Creating the DSPS website was all about teamwork. |
Nina Lee Alternate Format Technician, Primary DSPS Web Developer |
It is a privilege to have the opportunity to come to Delta College and pursue my higher education. Coming to Delta made me reevaluate the way I look at my own physical disability—in a more positive way. The skills I have gained in class and acquired through my first real work experience in the DSPS department will definitely be an asset for me to obtain my future career goal.
I encourage anyone who has a disability to continue with his or her higher education. Remember, happiness is following your passion. If you are lost on where or how to begin, like me before I attended Delta, it doesn’t hurt to start with pursuing a higher education. Now I can see my future clearer and have more self-fulfillment with my own accomplishments.
Thanks a billion to Rodney for recommending me, to Chris for hiring me, to Wendy for being my first extraordinary boss, to Ted for helping me see what I am capable of and giving me the extra experiences that will be useful when I transfer, to the whole DSPS staff for support with the DSPS Website project, and “The DSPS Website Design Team” for putting life and joy into what we do.
