Hello,
Thinking about attending Delta College? Need to know how to get started/
First, you need to complete an on-ling application. Go to www.detacollege.edu. Complete the application. Be sure to print the last page and sign it.
Second, call 954-5330 to schedule an appointment with a Disabled Student Program and Services (DSPS) Counselor.
Third, bring the signed application to your DSPS appointment.
Fourth, bring a copy of your SSI award letter, or Psych/Ed. Evaluation from your high school, and/or copy of your most recent audiogram evaluation.
Your DSPS Counselor will schedule you for an Assessment/Placement exam.
Once the exam is completed you will meet with your DSPS Counselor to plan classes at which time interpreting/communication access real time translation (CART) will be arranged.
Please make sure to try and complete the entire above prior to school starting. This will enable DSPS to make Interpreter/CART arrangements by the first day of classes.
Looking forward to meeting you soon… |
