Dispute Resolution ProcedureIf the student with a disabililty is dissatisfied with the services provided by DSP&S, denied reasonable academic accommodations or the use of auxiliary aids by college faculty or staff, the student should immediately schedule an appointment with a DSP&S counserlor or the Director of the deparment and seek and informal resolution in the matter. If the issue cannot be resolved to the student's satisfaction, the student may file a written formal Academic Accommodation Intervention Request per District Policies and procedures. (District Policy 5330 and Procedures 5330A/5330.1). DSP&S will provide a copy of the policy upon request and assist in it's filing with the school's 504/ADA cooridnator.
