Getting Started: Steps to accessing DSPS services.

Step 1: Apply for admissions to San Joaquin Delta College online.

 

Step 2: Access student ID# one business day after completion of admissions application. A Delta I.D. number and a Delta College email address will be assigned within one business day after processing your application. Go to www.deltacollege.edu, click on "Current Students," then "Online Registration" and login. Your I.D. and student email address will appear directly under the "Welcome" information. All correspondence from the college will be sent to this email address, so be sure to check it at least once a week. For problems logging into email, contact emailhelp@deltacollege.edu.

 

Step 3: Make an appointment to complete assessment test.

 

Step 4:  Make an appointment to attend a New Student Group Advising Session (NSGA)*

 

Step 5:  Obtain disability verification from a certifying professional for DSPS. CLICK HERE to download and print Confidential Disability Verification Form.

 

 

Step 6:  Schedule an intake appointment to meet with a DSPS counselor by calling 209-954-5151, ext.6272 or visit the DSPS Service Counter in the DeRicco Student Services Building, 2nd Floor, Room 234 (next to General Counseling).  CLICK HERE to download and print DSPS Application for Services.

*To be eligible for priority registration, new students must complete: 1. Assessment, 2. Orientation, and 3. Develop a SEP (Student Education Plan)
