DSPS "At-A-Glance"

 

This overview is sent each semester to remind you that we are here to serve students with disabilities and to serve you, the faculty, in teaching these students.  We expect over 1,300 students with a wide range of disabilities to enroll in classes this semester.  Some of these students will need special support services; most students do fine on their own. The majority of students served through DSP&S have “hidden” disabilities and are not easily identified in the classroom. 

While we encourage students to talk with the instructor, identification as a student with a disability remains the student’s right.  In case a student does need some assistance or if you have questions, these are some of the support services available through Disability Support Programs and Services.
