EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

Approximately 150 students with significant physical limitations may require assistance during emergency evacuations.  These students have been advised by our office to make you, their instructor, aware of any special evacuation needs that they may have.  If you are in doubt about how to assist a certain student, ask him/her directly.  If you need assistance with this, please call our office at ext. 5330.

NOTE: In most emergencies, students using wheelchairs do not need to be moved to ground level but rather to the safest point on the same level exterior walkway/balcony.
