Video and Audio Materials Used in the Classroom:

San Joaquin Delta College has a policy that all videos and audio presentations in classroom will be captioned and/or the student provided with text equivalent of the materials in a format that is understandable by the student. It is the responsibility of the instructor to have accessible materials in their classes.

• Only videos that are captioned will be purchased.
• Existing VHS videos must be captioned before they are used in a classroom.
• All of the classroom projectors will not automatically display captioning. The instructor must contact Audio Visual to arrange for a captioning decoder to be installed temporarily in the classroom.
