Technical Theatre Workshop
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The student will demonstrate a proficiency of all phases of play production including costume construction, construction, painting, rigging, placement, and manipulation of stage scenery, lighting equipment and properties andthe stagecraft terminology. The student will define and demonstrate knowledge of scene shop operation, maintenance and safety procedures regarding theusage of tools and technical equipment, building materials and fasteningmethods, blueprint reading, and the overall planning aspects of a theatricalproduction. The student will define and demonstrate knowledge of the costumeshop operation, maintenance and safety procedures regarding the usage oftools and technical equipment, materials, dying, sewing, pattern usage,and the overall planning aspects of a theatrical production.

A. Strict adherence to district policies. YOU WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE CLASS AFTER THE SIXTH ABSENCE.
