2. Answer the following questions in essay form. (20 POINTS)

Gaston says, “You take a couple of geniuses, put them in a room together, and, wow.” This is an appropriate response to the play, and very likely, Martin’s motivation for writing it.

A) -If the play is what Martin came up with based on Gaston’s remark, and thus giving us an opportunity to look at the minds that produced some of the greatest work of the twentieth century in art, science, and popular culture, how have the contributions of Einstein, Picasso, and “The Visitor” been appreciated?

B) -Has the contribution of one of them become more important than another? If so, how and why? If not, why not?

There are several supporting characters in the play that, historically, have contributed nothing of significance. However, in the world that Martin has created, they all play very important roles in the advancement of the story. Who are these people, and what do they contribute and represent?
