LS 196B - Advanced Screen Reader Application - Units 0

Advisories: LS-196A with a grade of "C" or better.

This non-credit course is designed to improve reading skills by the use of computer-based screen readers. The student uses a screen reader application to read electronic text and navigate those environments. The student will read various types of reading materials, including fiction, non-fiction, magazine articles, and Internet based materials. The student will also learn how to find electronic text materials on the Internet, online libraries, and create their own electronic text from printed text materials. This is a stand alone course and not proposed for any program or degree.
