E TECH 075B - Global Positioning System (GPS) Surveying Applications - Units 3

Advisories: MATH 080, Elementary Algebra, with a minimum grade of "C" or above and ENGR 010, Surveying, or E TECH 080, Applied Surveying, both with a minimum grade of "C" or above.

This course is an application oriented introduction to the Global Positioning System (GPS) as utilized in land surveying. Topics suited include the components of GPS technology, GPS observables, planning for GPS field surveys, GPS surveying techniques and data processing. A set of field surveys is performed using the GPS equipment as part of the laboratory activities. (CSU)
