CS 012 - Introduction to Management Information Systems - Units 3

Prerequisites: CS 011 with a grade of "C" or better.

This course is an introduction to information systems for the business student. Topics include the value and use of information systems technology for business operations, managerial decision making, and strategic advantage. Information system planning, systems analysis and design using applications software, decision support systems, and expert systems are included. Projects focus on the managerial decision making.
