Mathematics, Associate in ScienceThe Associate in Science Degree in Mathematics provides a foundation for students preparing to transfer to a four-year program in many Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Coursework includes a minimum of three semesters of calculus and additional coursework in college-level mathematics and/or closely related fields. Students may choose these additional courses (from an approved list) to best fit their academic and career goals. Minimum Units Required: 60 General Education Complete one of the following general education patterns:
Courses Within the Major Complete 19 units within the major; 13 units from Core Requirements, 3 units from Area 2, and 3 units from Area 3. Core Requirements - Complete 13 units.
