Vocational Nursing, Certificate of Achievement

Upon successful completion of the Vocational Nursing Program, the student demonstrates skills, knowledge, and training for eligibility to take the State of California examination for licensure, NCLEX-PN. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, the student demonstrates the skills to practice in a variety of health care settings providing patient care within the parameters of the Licensed Vocational Nurse scope of practice.
