Transfer Admissions Guarantee Programs (TAG)

Several Universities provide the student the opportunity to develop a Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG). These agreements, developed in conjunction with a Delta College counselor, will guarantee admission to the university for which the agreement is written. With a Counselor, students will develop a Student Education Plan (SEP), which will ensure the proper courses to become eligible for admission. The SEP will include the courses necessary to complete general education and major preparation requirements. If the students fulfills the obligation as outlined in the TAG, the transfer institution will fulfill its obligation, and automatically admit, upon completion of the formal admission process.

To determine which colleges and universities are offering a Transfer Admission Guarantee and to develop an individual TAG, students should see a Counselor as soon as possible during the first semester at Delta College. At the time of publication, TAGs were available with UC Davis, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, CSU Sacramento, CSU Stanislaus, and University of the Pacific.
