Kids College - Academic and Enrichment Workshops for Children and Teens

Locke 107 - (209) 954-5015

Kids College provides educational opportunities that are designed to meet the needs and interests of youth in the community. The program offers children and teens (ages 2-17) the opportunity to participate in academic and enrichment workshops on the College campus. Kids College programs occur during the fall, spring, and summer terms. Non-credit workshops are offered after school, Saturdays, or by special request. Kids College special request programs may be developed for schools, student clubs, youth groups, pre-school groups, community centers, and for home-schooled students. Kids College offers a variety of workshops in the areas of academic skills and creative learning, arts and crafts, computers, cooking and nutrition, dance, fitness, foreign language, sign language, science and engineering, sports, music, personal development, recreation, and theatre and acting. Workshops provide fun and challenging experiences that excite students about learning, as well as teach meaningful skills or hobbies, and provide an opportunity to explore possible careers. The schedule of Community Education workshops, including Kids College, is published in the Delta Digest.
