Livestock Show Team

Applied Science & Technology Division

The San Joaquin Delta College Livestock Show Team is designed to enhance animal husbandry skills associated with the marketing of livestock. Delta College students learn to select, feed, fit/groom and present beef cattle, sheep, and swine in a competitive market. Students participate in livestock shows and expositions at several California sites including the Cow Palace in San Francisco and the Tulare Livestock Exposition. Team members gain valuable experience to develop skills needed in an educational and commercial environment.
