Fine Arts and Communication Division

Students in the journalism/mass communication program at San Joaquin Delta College participate in conferences and competitions hosted twice a year by the Journalism Association of Community Colleges. The Northern California regional conference takes place each fall semester during October. The annual state-wide conference takes place in April during spring semester. The competition includes all phases of newspaper production: reporting, editing, layout, photography and sports reporting.
