SPAN 003 - Intermediate Spanish - Units 5

Prerequisites: SPAN 002, Elementary Spanish, with a grade of "C" or better or SPAN 054, Elementary Spanish, with a grade of "C" or better.

This course is designed to offer continued study of the Spanish language and Spanish cultures/area studies. Emphasis is placed on communication skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and cultural understanding (behaviors, institutions, perspectives and artistic manifestations). Efforts to improve reading and composition skills are based on both contemporary and traditional selection of literary texts. (UC, CSU, CAN SPAN 8, CAN SPAN SEQ B with both SPAN 3 and 4)
