READING 091A - Reading in Literature - Units 4.5

This course is designed to improve reading comprehension while building background knowledge in the subject area of literature. The student learns to use comprehension techniques and becomes acquainted with the basic concepts and vocabulary needed for an introductory course in literature. Successful completion of four of the six READING 091 (A-F) courses is equivalent to Reading level II. Units earned in this course do not count toward the associate degree.
