MATH 074D - Applied Mathematics: Decimals and Percents - Units 0.5-3

Prerequisites: MATH-074C Applied Mathematics: Fractions with a grade of "PASS".

This course is designed to provide the prerequisite mathematics competencies necessary for success in vocational and/or professional programs. Specifically, this course covers decimal and percent computational skills as well as decimal and percent problem-solving using analytical and critical thinking strategies. This a variable unit course that may be taken for up to three (3) units. Based on speed of mastery, the student may qualify to exit before the end of the semester. Completion of MATH 074A-D is equivalent to Math Level II. Units earned in this course do not count toward the associate degree.
