JAPAN 004 - Intermediate Japanese - Units 5

Prerequisites: JAPAN 003, Intermediate Japanese, with a grade of "C" or better.

This course is designed to offer continued study of the Japanese language and Japanese cultures. Emphasis is placed on communication skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and cultural understanding (behaviors, institutions, perspectives and artistic manifestations). Efforts to improve reading and composition skills are based on both contemporary and traditional selection of literary texts. (UC, CSU, CAN JAPN 10, CAN JAPN SEQ B with both JAPN 3 and 4)
