Prerequisite Skills: 1. ADVISORY: The participant should score 5 or above in ESL. If the participant scores less than a 5, it is recommended that the participant take ESL classes until he/she scores at least a 5 on the ESL test.
Limitations on Enrollment: Completion of requirements to sit for the NCLEX-RNĀ® examination, have taken the exam and have not been successful.
This course will prepare the entry level practitioner who is eligible but has failed the NCLEX-RN examination for successful reexamination. The course will review the knowledge necessary to integrate the role of the professional nurse into clinical practice from intermediate to advance nursing practice. Topics include pharmacology, mental health, pediatric, and community health nursing, and test taking strategies.
