Prerequisites: AUTO 063 Fuel and Electrical Systems each with a grade of "C" or better or.

This course is designed to prepare the student to troubleshoot and diagnose automotive fuel-injection systems, engine computer systems, emission systems, and some carburetion systems. The student completing the requirements of AUTO 55, Ignition Systems and Electronic Engine Controls, and AUTO 56, Fuel Management and Computer Controls, is eligible to test to receive certification for the approved Clean Air Car course from the State of California Bureau of Automotive Repair.
