A J 093 - Basic Peace Officer Academy - Units 18

Prerequisites: A J-094 Peace Officer Academy Orientation with a grade of "C" or better.

Limitations on Enrollment: Finger printing & Criminal Record Clearance.

This course is designed for basic entry-level training for the student preparing for a position as Level I Reserve Officers, Police Officers, and Deputy Sheriffs assigned to patrol. The course is certified by the State of California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST). Upon successful completion, the student receives a Certificate of Completion of the Basic Academy and is certified by the State of California Department of Justice.
