Soccer (Men)

Tom Hoang has been the Head Men's Soccer Coach since 1997. In his second year coaching, he led the Mustangs to the playoffs and in his third year he led his team to win the Bay Valley Conference Championship for the first time in the history of the men's soccer program at Delta. Delta is currently a member of the Big 8 Conference. Many of Coach Hoang's players have gone on to play at the Division I, II and III levels and several have gone on to compete at the professional level. Each year brings new challenges for the Mustangs in the form of new players with varying skills. In order to unite the diverse group, Coach Hoang manages an off-season team that allows new and returning players to get to know each other and continue to develop their skills while learning to play together as a team. This approach to team building has proven successful for Coach Hoang and will continue to produce a strong men's soccer team at Delta College.
