Speech & Debate Team

Fine Arts and Communication Division

Students who join the Speech/Debate Team at San Joaquin Delta College participate in supervised inter-collegiate speech and debate tournaments, workshops, and speaking assignments. Students are encouraged to develop their individual talents and abilities in speaking and interpreting literature which they accomplish through practice, competition and analysis of judges' critiques. Moreover, students develop a sense of team spirit and pride as they represent Delta College.
