Credit for Advancement Placement Examination

  1. San Joaquin Delta College will recognize advanced placement validated by Advanced Placement (AP), or International Baccalaureate (IB).
  2. Results from AP or IB transcript and an application for credit must be submitted to the Registrar before credit is granted.
  3. Up to thirty (30) units of baccalaureate credit may be granted only in those courses which are parallel to San Joaquin Delta College courses in content and semester unit value. The listing of equivalencies will be established by the Assistant Superintendent/Vice President in conjunction with the faculty in the appropriate discipline, the Curriculum Committee, and the Academic Senate, and published annually in the College Catalog.
