This course is a noncredit course designed to assist the VN student who has not successfully passed their licensure exam or the re-entry VN student who wishes to review previous course content regarding the role of the Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician`s in the care of the medical-surgical client with cancer, end of life issues, and urgent/emergent care. Also included is an introduction to NCLEX-PN preparation, the responsibility of the LVN/LPT in supervisory and delegation roles and the preparation for entry into the workforce.
