SOCIO 045A - Beginning Field Practicum - Units 2

Prerequisites: Reading level II; completion of or concurrent enrollment in PSYCH 1 or SOCIO 1A.

This course is designed to provide an opportunity for the student to have on-the-job learning experiences in human service agencies. The student observes professional staff working with clients in public agencies. One hour in class is required each week to integrate practical experiences with theory learned in sociology courses.
