SOCSC 030 - American Immigrant Experience - Units 3

Prerequisites: Reading level II.

This course is an introduction to the immigrant experience in the United States. The course provides a theoretical framework for the study of minority groups, examines the experiences of various racial and ethnic groups in the United States over time, and evaluates immigration policies. A historical overview of minority relations demonstrates the prevalence of ethnic diversity in the Units States. (UC, CSU)
