PSYCH 046 - Individual Counseling in Human Service Programs - Units 3

Prerequisites: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in PSYCH 1; reading level II.

This course is designed to stress basic skills for effective one-on-one counseling in human service programs through discussion and simulated counseling situations. The student examines his/her own counseling styles and identifies needed modifications with the assistance of the instructor and peers. (CSU)
