ITAL 052 - Elementary Italian - Units 2.5

Prerequisites: Successful completion of ITAL 51 with a grade of "C" or better.

This course is an introduction to the Italian language and Italian culture. Emphasis is placed on the following skills in the order given: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The combined five units of ITAL 51 and 52 are equivalent to ITAL 1. (UC, CSU, CAN ITAL 2 with both ITAL 51 and 52, CAN ITAL SEQ A with both ITAL 51, ITAL 52, ITAL 53, and ITAL 54)
