GUID 016 - Intro to College & Educ. Planning for International Students - Units 1

This course is an introduction to the college experience and the educational planning process through counseling and advising for International Students. This course assists International Students in the development of a comprehensive Student Education Plan (SEP). The course topics include identifying values, making decisions, and establishing academic and career goals. Information is provided concerning scholarship assistance, extra-curricular activities, and personal and social adjustment to American customs. Special emphasis is given to immigration regulations.
