CDEV 028 - Health and Safety in Child Care - Units 2

Prerequisite Skills: Advisory Reading Level II.

Advisories: CDEV 021 with a grade of "C" or better.

This course is designed for the teacher or child care provider who works in child development centers or family day care homes. Health and safety issues in child care settings are identified. Licensing regulations pertaining to prevention of infectious disease, recognizing signs of child illness, preparation for emergencies, and the caregiver`s responsibility for children`s health are discussed.
