Student Activities Programs & Services
The goal of San Joaquin Delta College's Student Activities Program is to promote a positive environment for student development through various campus clubs and organizations. These organizations are designed to encourage students who share common interests to broaden their social horizons through the democratic process.
All students enrolled at the college are members of Associated Student Body Government (ASBG), which provides campus leadership and coordinates the activities of all college student clubs and organizations. ASBG promotes the general welfare of students, guarantees equality of opportunity among students, and offers experience in the practice of American democracy.
The InterClub Council (ICC), a subcommittee of the Associated Student Body Government, addresses club communications, policy interpretation, policy review, club fund raising, and to ensure equity for all recognized clubs. ASBG and ICC member clubs support a variety of activities that make up campus life.
