Message from the President
Welcome to all new and continuing students. Thank you for choosing San Joaquin Delta College to pursue your educational goals. The Delta faculty, staff, and managers are dedicated to offering learning opportunities that meet your needs. Although Delta is a large college, we pride ourselves on providing personal attention and support to our students. Our main purpose is to help students to be successful and to achieve their educational goals.
We believe that the key to student success begins with choosing the right program. At Delta, there are many excellent programs from which to choose. Our collaborative agreements with major companies like AC Delco, Cisco Systems, General Motors, Caterpillar, and others, provide unique and specific training required for outstanding job opportunities. Our partnership programs with sixteen K-12 School Districts allow us to bring new and exciting programs to our students every semester. Our transfer agreements with numerous universities and four-year colleges enable Delta students to transfer to the college or university of their choice.
The mission of San Joaquin Delta College is not only to provide students with the skills and knowledge that are relevant to today's economy, but also to provide educational opportunities for all residents of our District. Our commitment is to serve you, our students and our community, better than any other college or educational provider.
It has been said many times that a good education is the key to a better life. San Joaquin Delta College is a great choice to begin the journey to a better future. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I wish you a rich and rewarding educational journey that is filled with a lifetime of success.
