Census Roster System


The Census Report is used to determine state apportionment. This report reflects all students who are actively enrolled as of the census day. It is important that Census Reports be given immediate attention on the due date. State financial support of the College is based on these reports.

Check the Due Date

Make note of the Census Date of your class. Census Reports should be submitted as close to the census date as possible, but not before. It is highly recommended that you submit the Census Report following the class meeting closest to the census date to ensure the accuracy of your report.

Complete All Adds

Students are not allowed to participate in class unless they are offically enrolled. Review the report carefully and verify that accurately reflects all students who are actively attending the class. If you have students attending class who are not indicated on the Census Report, please contact the Admissions and Records Office to request enrollment of these students. Please note that students may not be added on or after census date. To be eligible for apportionment, a student must be enrolled in the class at least one college day before census day.

Reinstate Students

If you previously dropped a student that has subsequently returned to class, contact the Admissions and Records Office to request the reinstatement of the student. Please send an e-mail to one of the following:

Drop Students

Use the Drop Roster to drop any students who are no longer attending class, have requested that you drop them, or who meet the mandatory drop requirements. These students should be dropped by the Friday before census.

A faculty member shall mandatorily drop a student from class when the student's absences prior to the end of the fourth week of the semester exceed two weeks of class time (i.e. 2X the number of times that class meets per week throughout the semester.)

Submit Report Electronically

Once the students who are not attending have been dropped and all currently attending students are reflected on the Census Report, use the "Submit" button to send the census information electronically to the system.
