How to Find Your Delta ID or Student Email Address
How To Find Your Delta ID
1. Select "Register", located at the top Delta College home page, and log into "Online Registration." Your initial log in is your social security number and password (date of birth) entered as mmddyy.
2. To protect the confidentiality of your student records, it is highly recommended that you establish a Personal Identification Number (PIN). To create a PIN, log into Online Registration and select the "Change PIN" option. Be sure to record your PIN in a safe place where others cannot gain access to it.
If you forget your PIN, you must request that your PIN be reset in-person at the Admissions and Records Office. A valid picture ID is required to reset a PIN. For your protection, PIN numbers cannot be reset by phone or email request.
The PIN you establish will change your password for logging into Online Registration AND student email. When you establish a PIN for Online Registration, the new PIN works immediately. However, for student email, it will be active the next day after you've created it.
How To Find Your Student Email Address
1. Select "Register", located at the top Delta College home page, and log into "Online Registration." Your log in is your social security number and password (date of birth) entered as mmddyy.
2. Under the "Welcome" information, your new student email address appears. It will be the first initial of your first name followed by your last name and three randomly assigned numbers. This is followed by "@students.deltacollege.edu." For example, John Smith might be assigned the following address: email@example.com.
After retrieving your student email information, you can access your account by selecting "Email", located at the top of the Delta College home page. Your log in name for student email is the information in front of the @ sign. For example, John Smith's log in name would be "jsmith321." Your password is your date of birth entered as mmddyy or PIN (if one has been established).
It is strongly recommended that you check your email account on, at least, a weekly basis. It is your responsibility to maintain the contents of your email account to ensure that the total size of the email messages within the account does not exceed 90%.
