Gary Yocum has local roots. Educated in the Stockton Unified School District, he’s a 1963 Stagg High graduate. As with other Citizens Oversight Committee members, Gary has a Delta College connection; he’s a 1969 Delta graduate in Political Science. From Delta College, Gary pursued his interest in Political Science at CSU Sacramento, earning his BA in Government in 1971.

Gary’s career focus became real estate management. His areas of expertise include planning, management, construction and budget (specializing in education related facilities). Currently, Gary is the Facility Planning Manager for Lodi Unified School District.

Gary is married with four children and two grandchildren. His interests include family activities, travel, reading and he’s a huge San Francisco Giants fan!

As a COC member, Gary Yocum says he’d like to “Encourage, support and vocalize the success of the Measure L Bond Program. I want to represent Measure L voters to ensure fiscal responsibility in the overall Bond Program.”
